On 23 August 2015, the Wayback Machine captured the historical @arc Twitter profile. The archived profile featured a cat avatar and the display name 豆 — the character for “bean.”

BeanCat carries that archived identity forward: the cat, the name 豆, and the old @arc profile — preserved as internet history and reimagined as a community meme on Arc.
